Leauge of Legends Spirit Blossom Event - How To Get Rich on Event Tokens

Leauge of Legends Spirit Blossom Event - How To Get Rich on Event Tokens

Do you want to know how you can farm a lot of tokens to get that prestige skin or chroma? Check out this guide!

The Spirit Blossom event was very generous with tokens, due to the Spirit Bonds system. If you buy the pass, you will receive 200 tokens and 4 Spirit Blossom orbs right away. If you already bought the pass, then you must be looking forward to get different stuff through the Event Crafting!

There might be a possibility that you started late with the event, have been busy, or just have not found the right method to farm tokens. The way to get the free tokens will change in the future, but the rest of the methods will apply to other Pass events.

The Spirit Blossom event introduced Spirit Bonds which is a “narrative experience” for you to talk to the different “Spirits” to earn tokens instead of the missions we got in the mission bar. Now you get the free tokens through the Spirit Bonds system by earning the favor of the spirits.

Note that the conversations choices do not provide you different amounts of tokens, and you can re-read them as many times as you want. If you want to know more about this event click this link

With the Spirit Blossom Event ending 24th of August, depending on what you want from the event shop, you might have to step up the farming game. You can still buy items for a while, the tokens will expire 8th of September.

Playing games

You earn tokens by just playing, and there are different possibilities of what you can earn.

Teamfight Tactics

If you prefer to play TFT, you can earn tokens there too. The difference is that Riot changed the way you earn tokens there. You now can't simply join a TFT game and then leave after a while. You have to be placed to get tokens. Unless you usually play TFT, and can guarantee that you place high, farming using this method would not be efficient.

Now on to the main question: What do I choose between Nexus Blitz, Normal Summoner’s Rift, or ARAM Howling Abyss?

Let’s look at some numbers, an average game of ARAM would be about 20-30 minutes, but there are times when it goes up to 40+ minutes. An average game of Summoner’s rift would be around 25-40 minutes or more depending on how well the team does. Finally, Nexus Blitz is very fast-paced and usually ends before 20 minutes, due to the last event Nexus Blitz, where the Nexuses fight each other.

ARAM Howling Abyss

With the lowest average time of 20 minutes, the results can vary. It can either be a loss or a win. If you win an ARAM game you get 6 tokens, meanwhile, you get 3 if you lose. If you win every game within an hour, it should be an estimate of 18 tokens per hour. However, if you lose the 20-minute games, you only earn 9 tokens per hour. Unless you enjoy ARAM and want this to be your farming method, then this might be right for you. Other than that, farming on ARAM is not as efficient as you might think it is.

Normals on Summoner’s Rift

You might think that this is the least efficient way to farm tokens, but if you continue reading, I will tell you why it’s not as inefficient as you think. You see, when you win you get 10 tokens per game, and 5 tokens if you lose. There are different ways to do this particular method. You could try a full premade party and perhaps do blind pick. You then lose the 5 minutes (an estimate with loading, pick and ban phase combined) and then you have about 15-minute games where you can all agree to surrender at 15 minutes if you're doing poorly. If your team does well however, you can probably end around 20 minutes and earn about 10 tokens.

Loss

Blind pick: Surrendering at 15 minutes, gives you 5 tokens per loss, and that would be 4 games per hour. An estimate of tokens would be 20 tokens per hour.

Draft pick: Surrendering at 15 minutes, gives you 5 tokens per loss, and given the time in champselect, it would be about 20 minutes combined. Therefore you will earn 15 tokens per hour.

Victory

Blind pick: Winning within 20 minutes, gives you 10 tokens per win and 3 games per hour, which equals 30 tokens. Should the enemy surrender at 15 minutes every game, you will then earn 40 tokens per hour at best.

Draft pick: Genuinely not worth it if you do play a full premade team, it might take time to find a game and the champ select time will also count. If you do choose to do this, at best you can earn 30 tokens at best, and maybe 40 if you are lucky with enemy team surrendering.

Rotating game modes/Nexus Blitz

In the past, Riot has given us other game modes during these farming events, and sometimes there are no other options. This time however you have Nexus Blitz, where the average time could be from 12-15 minutes where the maximum time would be around 20 minutes. As stated earlier that is due to the last events. Nexus Blitz is very fast-paced in comparison to other game modes that are currently available. There are also times where the enemy team surrenders around 10 minutes, or you manage to end around 10 minutes. In Nexus Blitz, the mini-games or events start at 4 minutes, 8 1/2 minutes, 13 minutes, and Nexus Blitz at 18 minutes.

Loss

If you lose a game during Nexus Blitz, it would be less than 20 minutes because of the last event. This means that you will earn at least 9 tokens and sometimes 12 tokens per hour if you manage to fit in 4 games per hour.

Victory

If you win a game of Nexus Blitz, you will earn 6 tokens. Assuming that your team chooses champions that benefit the first minigame and get a good buff from winning it, then you might as well win within 15 minutes. That means that you will earn an estimate of 24 tokens if you are lucky to fit in 4 games, and 18 tokens if you only manage to fit in 3 games.

Nexus Blitz is very fun and very diverse in what can turn a fight. Enemies might surrender early or you end early. The games will however not go over 20 minutes that often. So, it means that you should choose Nexus Blitz or rotating game modes when it is available so that you can get fast-paced games. Bear in mind that the last event Nexus Blitz, where they fight each other, it will be easier if you manage to take as many objectives as you can. When you take down turrets, it will deduct from the HP when it stands up later.

Conclusion

In conclusion, it seems that Nexus Blitz or rotating game modes are the most efficient way to farm tokens If other game modes are not available, Summoner’s Rift would be the most optimal in terms of what you earn per win/loss an hour. If you do not care about how much you earn per hour, but as long you have fun with the game, then I suggest you do whatever you want to achieve the fun factor if you have the time! Good luck with the last grind!
