Welcome to Team Dignitas, Joan! How does it feel to get picked up by an established organization like Dignitas?

iAmJP: The truth is that it is a dream, I could never have imagined what I am living right now. I'm ready to prove they did not make a mistake by signing me.

You’ll be living in the same house as your teammates located in Los Angeles for the next couple of months. How do you feel about this?

iAmJP: It's strange, going from playing at home to living with people who are also passionate about this game is awesome. I'm sad to leave my family for a while but eager to start competing and training with the whole team.

You’ll be receiving support from the Philadelphia 76ers. How important is that to you?

iAmJP: It's hugely important. Having such a big team support you is priceless.

What do you think about working with a coach and an analyst?

iAmJP: It's great, I think it's the best way to train and prepare well for a big competition.

Are you excited for what’s to come after making such a large step in the world of esports?

iAmJP: Of course, yes. I really want to start and do a good job with my great teammates.

How did you discover Clash Royale?

iAmJP: Through a classmate who played a lot. The game had just come out for Android, I downloaded the app and that's where everything started.

You, Juanka, and Messi 10 got picked up just a month before the CRL’s kick-off. Will this short period of time in-between events affect you at all?

iAmJP: I don't think so. With good training and a good mentality, we can achieve anything.

In the light of an extraordinary number of Spanish players being picked up by various teams in the CRL, why is Clash Royale seemingly very popular in Spain?

iAmJP: I honestly don't know, but I am glad that it is. The community means a lot.

How do mobile esports stack up against traditional esport titles played on PC?

iAmJP: I was relatively unfamiliar with esports until I joined this wonderful game. It's true that for now, PC games are more popular than mobile games but we will change that.

Who are you most excited to face in the upcoming CRL?

iAmJP: Team Queso!

Any closing words?

iAmJP: As I said, I'm eager to start and be able to prove my worth. I'm very grateful for the opportunity that Team Dignitas has given me, I will not fail them. Thank you!

We want to thank iAmJP for taking the time out of his day to answer our questions and wish him the best of luck in the CRL!
