Dignitas VP of Marketing Heather Garozzo has been inducted into the Esports Insider Hall of Fame!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Heather "sapphiRe" Garozzo has been inducted into the Esports Insider Hall of Fame Class of 2019.

Heather has been with Dignitas since February 2017, where she joined as the manager of our World Champion female CS:GO team. In May of that year, she accepted a role as the Director of Fan Engagement, where she worked tirelessly to develop and execute a world class social media, marketing and broadcast strategy. In October 2018, Heather was promoted into our leadership with the title "VP of Marketing", where she now works at the top level of our organization to drive continued improvements in our marketing strategy, and inspires employees and players all across the company.

Outside of her role in the Dignitas leadership, sapphiRe is known in the CS:GO community as one of the world's leading observers. Acting as an in-game camera operator, she is responsible for bringing the clutch plays and hype moments from the best teams in the world directly to the viewer. Heather has travelled all over the world, sometimes travelling from tournament to tournament, in pursuit of bringing the best players in the world to life.

Heather will be joining the ranks of legendary esports names from around the world. The Class of 2018 included Michal "Carmac" Blicharz, the VP Pro Gaming at ESL, Jason Lake, CEO at Complexity Gaming, and Chris Pucket, a broadcaster and producer currently hosting the Overwatch League. The Class of 2019 includes Heather "sapphiRe" Garozzo, VP of Marketing at Dignitas, Marcus 'djWHEAT' Graham, Director of Creator Development at Twitch, and Hector "H3CZ" Rodriguez, CEO and founder of OpTic Gaming.
