Exploration

Kara’s Child

Face the camera towards a four-leaf sigil and interact with it for the first time.

Summit of Wisdom

Climb to the top of the highest branch of the massive tree in Sumeru City. There will be a Dusk Bird sitting on that particular branch.

The Random Circumstances of a Rose’s Blooming

Go inside Collei’s house and read the notebook on her desk. Afterwards, grab the pot of Sumeru Rose by the left side of her desk and move it outside. Come back the next day to read Collei’s reply. This achievement has a one day time-gate.

Explorer

Use Electro on special objects and creatures such as Tri-Yana Seeds, Bouncy Mushrooms, and poisonous mushrooms whenever they are near blue, fragmented objects. The Catalyze reaction will reveal the blue object and reward the achievement.

Swift as the Wind

Travel to the three marked locations in Mawtiyima Forest and activate the wind currents by using Electro on the nearby Tri-Yana Seeds.

The Lengthy Reunion

Teleport to the Statue of the Seven near the right marker and a Sumpter Beast can be found traveling on the nearby road. This achievement can be earned by following the beast throughout the entire trail and collecting the chest that pops up at the end. It should take around 10 minutes for the beast to complete its journey. Keep in mind that if players accidentally attack or fight enemies near the beast, it can cause the beast to enrage and attack the player. Going too far away from the beast can also cause the achievement to fail. To avoid killing the beast and failing, players should instantly teleport out to restart the challenge. An easy way to complete this is to preemptively kill all enemies along the route before starting the challenge.

Call of the Nameless City

Head to the first location at Devantaka Mountain and start the challenge. The challenge will lead players to the number two spot where they will receive a Mysterious Parchment containing a map and some text. Head to the number three and complete another challenge by defeating three Ruin Sentinels. After the challenge the parchment will be updated, leading players to the fourth location. Players must fish at the fourth location until they receive another update to the parchment. Afterwards, teleport to the underground waypoint near the first location and head to the camp with unlit torches. Light the torches in the following order for the achievement.

Now Let Time Resume

There are 16 locations where Ruin enemies are sealed by three stone locks. Use Pyro to break the stones and defeat the unsealed enemies. Clearing all 16 locations grants you the achievement and unlocks a World Quest at the 17th location, marked by blue. Players do not need to complete the World Quest for this Hidden Achievement.

Please Play Safely

Play mini-games with all 12 Aranara to earn this achievement. The games include memorizing color, order, or location of certain objects. The Aranyaka World Quest must be started before players can progress on this achievement.

For Meritorious Service

To get this achievement, players must help all 64 lost Arana located throughout Sumeru. The tasks that players need to perform for these Arana include providing materials, defeating enemies, applying Dendro, playing the Vintage Lyre, and using Seed Mirror. The Aranyaka World Quest must be started before players can progress on this achievement.

Though to the Earth I May Return

After completing the Aranyaka main questline, teleport back to Old Vanarana using the marked Waypoint. Proceed to jump down the hole and approach the mural on the wall for the achievement.

Song of Night and Dawn

After completing the main Aranyaka main questline, teleport back to Old Vanarana. There are seven bonfires with Pyro Abyss Mages throughout Old Vanarana. Extinguishing each bonfire with hydro will cause dialogue to appear. Once all seven have been doused, a Pyro Abyss Lector will spawn at the Statue of the Seven. Head over and kill the Abyss Lector to earn this achievement.

Vamadha-Go-Round

Use the Vintage Lyre to play Rhythm of Vamadha to spin the Vamadha at these two locations and loot the chests. Players receive this song during part two of the Vimana Agama questline.

Weather Control Activated

This achievement requires players to have ‘A Prayer for Rain on the Fecund Land’ in the Varuna Gatha questline completed first. Use the Vintage Lyre near the Varuna Contraption and then change the weather to get this achievement.

They Enter the Flow

For this achievement, players need to take a photo of the moment Varunastra starts up. Players first need to use the Varuna Contraption to set the weather to ‘Circulate’. Find a good location where the Varunastra is in full view, such as the one marked on the map. The Varunastra starts up at both 12:00 and 24:00 in-game time, so adjust the clock to a few minutes before then. Players should use the ‘Take Photo’ button in the menu instead of the Kamera gadget.

Oh, Frabjous Day!

Go to the nine locations and dig up buried chests. After all nine have been collected, players will receive a treasure map that leads to marker 1. After opening the chest at marker 1, a note will lead players to marker 2 for another chest and the achievement.

In the Name of Anfortas

For this achievement, players need to activate 5 dead Ruin Guards around and near Devantaka Mountain. To do this, players need to collect 15 out of the 19 ‘Lost Energy Blocks’ scattered around. Afterwards, they must use Dendrogranum to free each of the Ruin Scouts hidden under the Dendro Rocks. Follow each of the Ruin Scouts to their respective Ruin Guards and defeat the enemies that spawn at the end. Finally, load the Lost Energy blocks into all the Ruins Guards to get the achievement.

I’ve Got It! I’ve Got It!

To get this achievement, players will need to solve a series of five riddles located within Sumeru City. Head to the notice board near the Adventurer’s Guild to get started on the first riddle. Completing each riddle will lead players to the next one.

Nature’s Infinite Wit

Reach reputation level 10 in Sumeru through World Quests, Exploration, Bounties, and Requests.

World Quests

‘Aranyaka’ is a long series of World Quests introduced in Version 3.0 and many Hidden Achievements can be obtained from them. Aside from the main Aranyaka story, there are also several related side quest chains. The main quest starts when Traveler encounters NPC Rana on the road, to the west of Gandharva Ville. Progress on Aranyaka related quests can be viewed in the ‘Aranyaka’ Gadget, which is a book that tracks the traveler’s adventure with the Aranara. This book can be obtained after completing ‘The World of Aranara’ in Part II of the Aranyaka main story and is located in the ‘Quest’ section of players’ inventory.

The following Hidden Achievements can be obtained by simply following and completing the main story of Aranyaka. Progress of the main story can be tracked on the second tab of the Aranyaka book, called ‘Dream Nursery’.

  • Portals of Marvels
  • Perched Between Dream and Reality
  • Glittering Melody
  • A Once-Emerald Nursery
  • The End of Annihilation
  • The Bitter Fruit of Dreams

Music of the Forest

Players can collect all of the Aranara’s Songs by simply going through the main Aranyaka quests as well as the quests for Vimana Agama, Varuna Gatha, and Agnihotra Sutra. All of these songs and storylines can be found in the Aranyaka book.

The Bitter Fruit of Dreams

Use the ‘Kusava’ gadget for the first time at the start of Agnihotra Sutra questline.

When the Dreams Bloom

Before going after this achievement players must first complete ‘A Prayer for Rain on the Fecund Land’ in the Varuna Gatha questline and ‘Sprouting Seedlings’ in the main Aranyaka questline. Afterwards, go to 12 Nurseries in the Wild to collect a Vasmrti from each one. Players must complete a mini path puzzle at each Nursery to receive a Vasmrti. Once all 12 have been collected, go to Aranakula’s garden at the red marker and plant them. The cave entrance leading to the garden starts at the blue marker. There is a one day time-gate, so come back after the daily reset to talk to Aranakula for the achievement. Aranakula can only be accessed in the dream version of Vanarana.

Eternal Sustenance

This is related to the achievement above, ‘When The Dreams Bloom’, and also requires the World Quest, ‘Giving Flowers’. Players first need to head to the marked cave guarded by two Eremites. Players will need to clear the Withering and then play their Vintage Lyre by the Claustroflora under Dendro Pile. This will reveal a hidden location as well as the NPC Varsha that starts ‘Giving Flowers’. This quest can be started either before or after the flowers in Aranakula’s Garden have bloomed. Once the flowers have bloomed, make sure to switch back to the reality version of Vanarana so players can find the garden full of Sweet Flowers. Talk to Varsha to bring her to the garden for the achievement.

As the Lion Searched for Courage…

The World Quest ‘Static Views’ must be completed before attempting this achievement. Head to the red marker and defeat the enemies in front of an Aranara’s house. Read the note inside the house and then proceed to the cave at the blue marker. Save Arashakun from the enemies and complete the quest to gain the achievement.

The Tale of the Forest

Speak to Aravinay in Vanarana and purchase all five weapon blueprints from him for this achievement. Players must use five ‘Stories of You and the Aranara’ to buy all the blueprints. The stories can be obtained from completing the following quests:

  • ‘Dev Delver Chapter’ in Vimana Agama
  • ‘A Prayer for Rain on the Fecund Land’ in Varuna Gatha

  • ‘“Hello,” “Thank You,” and the Final “Goodbye”’ in Part IV of Aranyaka

Ever an Outcast in the Forest

After completing the main Aranyaka World Quest chain, talk to Alphonso in Vimara Village to uncover the ‘bad guy’. Choose the dialogue option ‘Sudabeh’ and then ‘Kavus’. After some more dialogue the player can choose to fight or spare him, granting the achievement.

A Walnut Tree Amidst the Gardens

This achievement involves the continuation of the Agnihotra Sutra questline after ‘The Final Chapter’. Go to the first marker and find Aranakin and complete his World Quest. Next, go to the second marker through either cave entrances and kill all Eremites until an enemy named Azrul appears. Once Azrul is defeated, Aragaru appears and another World Quest starts. Afterwards, head to marker three to talk to an old man with ‘???’ above his head to start another World Quest. Upon completion of ‘Memory’s Final Chapter’, adjust the in-game clock to the following day and head to marker four to speak with Khayyam and receive the achievement.

Walking with Water and Wind

This achievement is part of the Vimana Agama questline and happens after ‘Dev Delver Chapter’ and ‘Festival Utsava’ have been completed. The quest ‘Until Vana is Healed’ will automatically pop up and the achievement will be earned after its completion.

A Leisurely Journey & A Conversation with the Treasure Chest Owner

These two achievements are both related to the Mysterious Clipboard tab in players’ Aranyaka book. Mysterious Clipboard becomes available after starting ‘Static Views’ in Vanarana, which eventually leads to ‘Static Views, Part 2’. ‘A Leisurely Journey’ requires players to have locations one to 10 completed. ‘A Conversation with the Treasure Chest Owner’ requires players to find location nine and talk with Araminali to complete.

Open Sesame!

Players can get this achievement by completing the World Quest, ‘The Foolish Fatuus’. To unlock this World Quest, players will need to go to all eight Saghira Machine locations throughout Sumeru and complete their processes. Once all eight are done, head back to location 1 in Yasna Monument to start the World Quest. Follow the quest to locations 2, 3, and 4. At location 4, select the following dialogue options:

  • ‘Then let’s go and meet the Corps of Thirty…’
  • ‘Don’t get cocky! Tell the truth!’
  • ‘You’re Lying again! Is your face itching or what?’

Carry on with the rest of the quest and the achievement will be given at the end.

Sumeru Monster Ecology Survey

This achievement requires the completion of two World Quests, ‘Where are the Fierce Creatures?’ and ‘A Short Encounter With a Rare Bird’. ‘Where are the Fierce Creatures?’ can be started by talking to an NPC with ‘???’ over his head near Chatrakam Cave. ‘A Short Encounter With a Rare Bird’ can be started by killing Shroomboars near the north of Ruins of Dahri. An NPC should appear soon after players kill the boars.

Answer Time

This achievement requires completing the World Quest, ‘The Path of Papers’, which unlocks after Act II of Archon Quest Chapter III. This World Quest is a continuation of ‘Fertilizer…Salesperson?’ from the Inazuma region, meaning players must have it completed first. Speak to Niloofar to begin ‘The Path of Papers’.

Where Have You Gone, My Dream?

Find Javi at the marked location and accept his World Quest. The quest requires a Sumeru Rose Seed, which players can buy from Tubby in Serenitea Pot or acquire with their Seed Dispensary Gadget. Hand in the seeds at Port Ormos to get the achievement.

Date of Departure

Head to Port Ormos and climb atop the roof of the marked building. Open the chest hidden on the roof to start the World Quest, ‘The Price’. After completing the quest, return to the same building and interact with a note left on two wooden crates for the achievement.

When Autumn and Dew Meet

Players can get this achievement by letting Electro Regisvine perform its electrical collision attack. Do not destroy the Electro objects dropped by the boss. Once two are on the ground they will fly towards each other to perform the attack.

Three Strikes

Witness all three of Jadeplume Terrorshroom’s special attacks by charging it with Electro. Once the icon is fully charged Jadeplum will perform one of three special attacks. Avoid using Pyro as it lowers the charge. Players do not need to witness all three in the same encounter.

Get Over Here!

Bring down a bird type Fungi as it is flying in the air. There is no need to kill it, simply bringing it to the ground with attacks will earn players the achievement.

Han Always Shoots First…

Interrupt an Eremite Sword-Dancer when they are performing a taunting animation. The taunt animation involves the Eremite tossing his sword back and forth between his hands. This animation happens quite rarely, but players should be able to get this achievement easily just by battling them regularly.

Opportunistic Gain

Players can get this achievement by gathering Fungi and waiting for their attacks to hit each other. A good place to gather different types of Fungi is the area below Jadeplume Terrorshroom, where Hydro Fungi’s bubbles can hit other types of Fungi.

Commissions

It’s My Job

For the commission ‘Attaché in Another Land’, players can gather more than the five required mushrooms to get this achievement.

Kalimi’s Fungus & When Wealth Comes A-Knockin’

These two achievements are part of the same commission, ‘Gold Devouring and Mora Gathering’. Aside from the initial version, there are four other variations to this commission. If Hatim makes a fortune then players will receive ‘Kalimi’s Fungus’. If Hatim goes bargain-hunting then players will receive ‘When Wealth Comes A-Knockin’’.

What’s The Matter?

Complete all three variations of the commission ‘Eat and Learn’ to get this achievement. The variations are: mint, potato, or raw meat.

Relaxation Therapy

For the commission ‘Doctor’s Orders’, players need to give medicine to one of three patients: Azra, Aftab, or Gurgen. To get this achievement, players need to talk to each patient after delivering their medicine and perform a request. All three requests must be done at least once for this to count. Make sure not to turn in the quest before talking to the patients.

Aha! What’s On the Hook?

Complete the commission ‘Supreme Hookshot’ three times for this achievement.

Non-Obligatory Request

The Commission ‘Project Baby’ will send players to one of five possible camps to retrieve some pet snake food. Fungi camp, rockslide camp, and tree nest camp have additional items that players can bring back. Finding and giving all three additional items grants this achievement.

Scholarly in Sumeru

The commission ‘Akademiya Q&A’ will ask players three of six possible questions. To get this achievement, players must answer all six correctly. If the player is lucky, it will only require the commission two times to complete the achievement, but RNG can be painful sometimes.

Catch Me-ow if You Can!

Complete the commission ‘Meow… Meow meow? Meow! Meow.’ three times. There are three possible cats that the NPC asks you to find, so be sure to use the correct ‘meows’ for each cat.

Don’t Blame the Mora!

To get this achievement players will need to complete the World Quest 'Gourmet Supremos: Within our Duties’. This is part of the Gourmet Supremos series of quests and commissions that started back in Inazuma. Players will need to have all prior quests completed, as well as the related achievements ‘Meal For Two’, ‘A Question of Diet’ and ‘Samurice’. If all prerequisites have been met, players must complete the commission ‘The Gourmet Supremos: Where’d the Ingredients Go?’ one more time before they can receive ‘Within our Duties’ in Port Ormos.

Up by the Roots

This achievement is related to the commission ‘The Flowers That Won’t Grow’ and its follow up ‘When Flowers Bloom’. There are two versions for both these commissions, but the achievement requires the Whopperflower version in ‘When Flowers Bloom’. Defeating the Whopperflower grants players the achievement.

The Ship Has It
