Finished your Valorant starter and closed beta rewards? Well there is a way to unlock more cosmetics rewards and more agents!
So, you finished the starter series contract and unlocked two more characters? You also finished the closed beta rewards set? Well, have you noticed players on your team with pistol cosmetics or gun buddies that you haven’t seen in the store? That’s because there are additional contracts for each agent that reward you exclusive cosmetics! For free! There are ten tiers for each agent, including a gun buddy at tier 6 and an exclusive pistol skin at tier 9.
To start one, you will first need to decide on which one to activate. Here are each of the steps on how to activate one:
At the top of the home screen, click the tab called ‘Collection’. Once there select agents and select your favorite agent.
Above the portrait of the Agent it will read “Activate this Agent’s contract to unlock agent specific rewards.” Once you click ‘Activate’, the button will no longer be in blue and will be grayed out and read “This agent’s contract is active. Play games to unlock rewards”. You will see contract in the top left of your screen as your current reward tracker once activated. Be aware, you may only have one agent contract activated at a time.
Now when getting to work on the contract, each of the Agents have ten tier rewards that are specific to each of them. The reward tiers are as follows:
Tier 1: Title
Tier 2: Card or Title

After you finish your 10-cosmetic tiers for your favorite agent, you can click through each one and preview what they reward by clicking “View contract”. Find some stuff you would like to work towards and activate your next one! This is also the way to unlock more than the two operators the starter quest unlocks for you. To unlock an additional agent, just activate their contract and you will be rewarded the agent when you reach the reward tier 5 for their contract. As of now, there is no confirmation that any of these agent rewards transfer to full release other than the Closed Beta Rewards. This is something that gives players to progress and earn rewards as they get plenty of matches in over the next two months, as well as way to test drive some of the agent cosmetics. If these do not end up carrying over to full release, at the very least it is something to work towards over time for free cosmetics.
