The new Noxus season meta changes may have made it slightly… difficult for ADC mains, to say the least. However, that doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice maining ADC in 2025.
There are a few Champions that have weathered the storm of item overhauls and game adjustments and have come out even stronger than before (well, strong enough to carry with!).
Read on to find out exactly which ADC Champions are worth maining in 2025, and more importantly, what makes them such great picks!
Draven is notorious for being one of the most difficult ADC Champions to play in the game. Not only does he have a high-risk high-reward playstyle, but he also has extremely difficult mechanics and a whole hoard of combos in his kit. However, if you’re willing to master the nitty-gritty of his playstyle (and axes)? You’ll be rewarded with virtually endless gold stacks (and LP) this season.
This is thanks to the fact that Draven is by far the strongest lane bully around; he has an ungodly amount of damage from the get-go and can practically decimate any ADC Champion he’s matched up against. He can also farm, self-peel, and kite with ease, meaning he can carry himself even he doesn’t have the best support by his side.
Once he’s won his lane, he can then easily rotate to other lanes and snowball the rest of his teammates to victory. He can also draw pressure across the map to help his jungler secure objectives.
Draven’s main weakness is that he falls off hard late. However, with games closing a whole lot earlier this season, this weakness shouldn’t be a huge concern. Play him well, and you’ll be able to win your matches quicker than the enemy can FF15.
Tristana may be a little Yordle, but her kit still packs an oomph (literally) in 2025! She can blast through health bars (and turrets) with her E, buff up her attack speed with her Q, and effortlessly chase down her enemies with her gap-closing rocket jump. Not only that, but her passive also progressively increases her auto-attack range as she levels, giving her good scaling potential in the later stages of the game too.
Tristana is a particularly great Champion if you’re after an aggressive ADC who still offers a lil’ more safety than the likes of Draven. This is primarily thanks to her rocket jump, which can also serve as a disengage tool to escape dicey situations, and her ultimate, which allows her to knock away any enemies that get too close.
Tristana is relatively easy to master, though you do need to be very careful with her W ability. Jump in at the wrong time, and you’ll likely be faced with the gray screen of death due to how squishy she is.
Miss Fortune doesn’t have as much damage or carry potential as the likes of Draven. However, what she does offer is an all-around balanced kit that’s easy to master even for a total beginner. She particularly thrives in low elo, where players rarely ever respect her strong early harass and ricocheting bullet mechanic. She can also comfortably adapt to a whole range of team comps, giving her great versatility as a Champion.
What makes Miss Fortune a particularly great ADC pick this season though is her knack for teamfighting. Her AoE ultimate, which dishes out a flurry of damage, can change any fight in her favor. She can even use it to force the enemy to disengage or break their positioning, providing her teammates ample opportunity to collapse on the enemy carry. To top it off, her passive grants her bonus additional damage whenever she swaps to a new target.
If you are considering picking up Miss Fortune this season, be mindful that she lacks an escape ability and is particularly vulnerable to CC. You’ll have to position carefully in fights and keep a close eye on the map to avoid getting caught out.
Jinx may have won hearts in Arcane, but out on the Rift? She’s massacring hearts (and health bars) left and center. Her kit is packed with everything a Champion could possibly need to thrive this season — high attack speed, a generous attack range, plenty of utility, and the ability to synergize with a vast range of support Champions, to name a few of her game-winning traits. Her passive also allows her to kite with ease, giving her great survivability despite her lack of dashes and mobility.
But the main reason Jinx is such a great pick? Her global ranged ultimate. With this ability, she’s able to make across-the-map plays and secure kills for her team. She can even use this ability to assist with those skirmishes around critical mid-game objectives — even if she’s behind or out of position.
Just be mindful to keep a close eye on her mana bar in the early laning phase. Recklessly spamming her abilities will leave her vulnerable, as she won’t be able to use her Q rocket for that long attack range.
Playing ADC in the current season may feel like you’re battling against the odds. However, the Champions above are sure to help you gain the upper hand in your games. That said… Make sure to take the time to practice these Champions in normals before you take them to Ranked — especially if you’re picking up Draven! Your teammates (and LP) will thank you.
