Workshop maps have been an integral part of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Whether it is to warm up, practice your aim, or just surf around – Workshop maps have been the go-to for every player. The Workshop was not part of CS2 during its release but has now been added. It's been some time now and most of the beloved CS: GO workshop maps have been recreated in the new Source 2 engine for you to enjoy.
But, enough with the tech talk, let's get right into the best CS2 Workshop maps that every CS player should have in their library, from aim trainers and surfing to recreated classic CS 1.6 maps.
Aim Botz - Aim Training
To the average CS player – this map needs no introduction. Aim Botz has been the go-to aim training map for most CS players. For those unfamiliar, Aim Botz is a classic aim training map where you are surrounded by bots waiting to be headshot by you. It's your one-stop for warming up and practicing your aim. What makes Aim Botz the best map for aim training is the amount of customizability. You can change the terrain, the bot’s movement, and much more. Plus, the all-favorite 100 kills mode, where you try to kill 100 bots as fast as you can.

Crashz’ Crosshair Generator v4
Before the introduction of the custom crosshair tool in CS2 or CSGO, Crashz’ Crosshair Generator was the best place to craft your crosshair. Even with the release of the tool, this map is still used by players to customize their crosshairs. Some might argue it's better.
You have all the standard customization options you would need to build your crosshair, and there is also a huge library of pro crosshairs for you to choose from. You can then fine-tune it to your liking and when you are done there is a small shooting range outside to test the new crosshair out.

Crashz’ Viewmodel Generator
Speaking of customizability, Crashz has another map for that – The Viewmodel Generator. The job of this map is pretty straightforward; it allows you to customize the position of your gun model. You can change the X, Y, Z, and the FOV of your model. It also allows you to tweak how much your gun moves when you move. You can tweak it to your preference or use the given presets.

Fast Aim Reflex Trainer
While grinding bots in Aim Botz will improve your core aiming ability. This map takes it a bit further by focusing on improving your reflexes and speed. The goal of the map is pretty straightforward, bots will rush at you from different directions while strafing, and you have to kill them before they fall in the pit near you. You will need your headsets for this map, which will let you listen to the bot’s footsteps and then quickly flick to shoot them down. It’s a great map to warm up before hoping to into Ranked.

Surfing is one of the most enjoyable parts of CS. After a long day, you can put on some music and drift away while you surf. If you have ever been interested in learning to surf, this map is perfect. Almost every surfing enthusiast started their journey with this map. AWP Lego 2 (Winter)
If anyone ever challenges you for an AWP duel, you bring them here. This is the place where even the pro AWPers like kennyS battle it out. This is because of the simplistic design of the map, giving you a lot of different vantage points and angles to AWP from. While there are more maps like Awp_india, this one has always been the go-to for most players. This version of the map features a winter theme, which makes it pretty cool – pun intended.
