Are you looking for the best Counter-Strike: Global Offensive training maps but do not know where to start? Check out our updated training map list that will get you in shape for the server!

One of the unique aspects of the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CSGO) community is workshop map development. Members of the CSGO community are dedicated to creating fun and interactive training maps available through the Steam Workshop. Training maps are easy to access and are devoted to different parts of improvement. For instance, maps are geared towards aim training, while some serve as a crosshair customization resource.

With such a vast archive of workshop maps, it can be challenging to identify the updated versions of classic maps or pinpoint new gems. We have done the job for you and found 2021’s best CSGO workshop maps!

Crashz’ Crosshair Generator v3 (latest version)

Coming in hot as the most popular CSGO Workshop map of all time and totaling almost 36 million subscribers is crashz’ Crosshair Generator. This irreplaceable Workshop map should be at every player's fingertips. Crashz' Crosshair Generator is your one-stop shop for crosshair testing and customization. Furthermore, this map allows you to try out the crosshairs of professional players with one simple click. You will never have to spend time looking up pro crosshairs because the map’s archive is updated frequently. Crashz’ Crosshair Generator features:

CS:GOHUB.com Skills Training Map

Created by ESLGaming, the CS: GO Hub Training Map is truly everything you have ever wanted in a training map. Released in 2020, the map contains resources to aim train, a crosshair generator, a movement trainer, and pre-fire challenges. The arena includes all competitive maps and ten different training arenas. Additionally, a competitive edge is added with their real-time leaderboards. Our favorite aspect of CS: GO Hub is that there is also a co-operative mode, meaning you can drag a friend in with you while you train! The CS: GO Hub training arena features:

  • 3 Warmup options
  • Aim challenges
  • Timed trial with three different difficulty settings
  • Speed challenge
  • Prefire challenge
  • Practice prefire angles on bots in realistic positions and scenarios
  • Real-time prefire progress tracking
  • Movement training
  • KZ training
  • B-hop training
  • Surf training
  • Professional player crosshair archive

Aim Course

Created in 2014, Aim Course is a must-have training map. With thousands of five-star ratings, “Aim Course” is a community-trusted map that has lasted the test of time. Developed by the infamous “uLLecticaL,” over one million gamers have subscribed to the map. Aim Course contains some key features to help you improve your crosshair placement, movement, and reaction time.

  • 38 moving and stationary targets
  • Live accuracy and headshot percentages
  • On-screen timer

Aim Course is unlike any other aim training map because it puts you in realistic scenarios. As you navigate through the map, targets enter your field of vision, hide behind corners, and more. This map will activate your focus and keep your mouse skills sharp.

Aim Botz - Training

Another trendy map created by “eLLeticaL,” Aim Botz is arguably the most well-known CSGO aim training resource. Whether you are a beginner player or combat-hardened veteran, Aim Botz can help you at any stage. Nearly twenty million subscribers use Aim Botz as a way to aim train, warm up, and pass the time. While Aim Botz was released seven years ago, the developers have continued to improve the map over time, and the results are impressive. As of the latest update, Aim Botz features:

  • Stationary/Moving bots
  • Enable/Disable kevlar/helmets on bots
  • Peek/Spray walls
  • Unlimited ammo (you can turn this on/off)
  • Sound practice test - see how well you react to sounds around you
  • All weapons are available to practice with
  • Kill tracker

The fun does not stop there with Aim Botz! The coveted community Aim Botz 100 Kills Challenge is a fun mini-game. Players from all around the world compete to see who can kill 100 bots the quickest. Do you think you have got what it takes to take the champs down? Try it out for yourself!

Recoil Master - Spray Training

Another tried and true workshop map is uLLeticaL’s Recoil Master - Spray Training. While this map might not be too flashy, it will have you putting in the work. Recoil Master gets you in the headspace to fine-tune your muscle memory. When you enter the arena and choose your weapon, a “ghost crosshair” appears for you to trace. Doing this repeatedly will help get a “feel” for the gun’s spray pattern. You can choose to practice the spray pattern of any weapon in the game, not just your typical rifles.

  • Features spray patterns for all weapons.
  • Auto spray - holding the trigger shows you the spray
  • Twenty shooting ranges
  • Various settings to train with - infinite ammo
  • Bullet time adjuster - slow down the bullet time to see the spray in slow motion
