Here is how you can get VALORANT Points to buy weapon skins and Agents
So you've got your hands on VALORANT closed beta access and you see all those awesome weapon skins that people are using but you don't know how to get them quickly. Well, the answer is VALORANT Points (VP). Although VALORANT is a free to play game, additional agents and skins can be bought and VALORANT Points are the currency you need to buy them.
You can get VALORANT Points through the in-game store. Depending on which region you're from, you'll get a slightly different option in the in-game store. However, taking currency fluctuations in consideration everyone is getting roughly the same value for their price! Below is an overview of the prices for VALORANT Points in each region:
NA:
UK:
EU:
To give you an idea of what you can get with this amount of points, the cheapest weapon skins seem to start around 875 VP while the more expensive skins sell for 2550 VP. It is unclear if these prices will change by the time the full game releases in the summer. It is possible that Riot is using the closed beta to gauge people's reaction and sales numbers.
Once the full game launches in the summer, you will get all of your VP returned to you plus an additional 20% to thank you for your beta participation! So don't worry about investing some money during the closed beta phase, you won't lose it!
