We just witnessed the Fortnite Big Bang Event, and it was pretty insane. There was Rocket Racing, Fortnite X Lego, and to top it all, Slim Shady. Who doesn't like a bit of “Lose Yourself”? If you missed it, you can check it out here.

Sadly, this event means the end for the OG map. However, after seeing some of the leaks, Chapter 5 is looking pretty good. It won’t give us that nostalgic feeling of the Chapter 1 map, but it looks very promising.

After seeing the event you must be excited about what Chapter 5 is going to bring to Fortnite. There is still time before the update is released, but the wait is almost unbearable. But, to make it a bit better, we have listed everything we know about Chapter 5 - the map, skins, and much more. The trailer has also released, so you can watch that as well.

All Major Fortnite Chapter 5 Content

The Trailer makes this next Chapter look enjoyable, and it's all new content. Without wasting time let's get right into it.

Chapter 5 is going to bring us a whole new map, named Helios. At first glance, the map looks balanced. It has most of the biomes we know and love. It’s not too big or small. We don’t know the name of the POIs yet, so we have to wait for the update to see that. Overall, the map looks pretty good.

New Battle Pass

With the new chapter comes the new battle pass. The name of the first season is going to be Underground. Fortnite is going for a downtown street theme this time. For now, we don’t know the exact names of the skins.

However, we are getting some great skins nonetheless. The biggest is Peter Griffin as the first Fortnite x Family Guy collaboration. Speaking of collaborations, Peter Griffin isn’t the only one joining the Fortnite Roster, we are also getting Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid. There is also Underground Agent Jones. You can see the other skins in the image above. All in all, the skins look phenomenal.

Train and New Vehicles

The most exciting addition to Chapter 5 is the train. It’s going to be pretty fun to cruise around with your friends around the map on the train. Plus, it’s a great way of rotating around the map. The leaked maps show how the railway tracks are going to go around the map. All in all, a great and exciting addition.

Apart from the train, we are also getting a Fortnite x Lamborghini collab. So, you should now be able to ride Lamborghinis around the map. There are also going to be armored vehicles too.

Weapon Mods/Attachments and New items

Talking about new additions, we are also getting weapon attachments. You should now be able to equip scopes, extra mags, and other fun attachments to your guns. This should make every loadout unique.

To be completely honest, Grappler carried us through the whole OG season. It was the best mobility in the game. Chapter 5 is going to bring a new Grappler. It’s not the same, it works similar to Batman’s grappling gun. This also introduces a new Grappler combat mode.

You can swing and grapple yourself across a building to get to enemies and finish them off with a clean slash.

Another exciting addition is a Riot Shield. It’s a shield that you equip and can use as cover to shoot from. If you ever played older Counter-Strike games, you know what this is.

Wall Clambering

Weapons mods aren’t the only thing, Fortnite is also adding a new movement mechanic in Chapter 5. It’s wall clambering, in this new chapter, you should now be able to climb up walls, similarly to how it works in Apex Legends. Different from the mantling we already have, wall clambering should allow you to climb longer and surmount taller walls.

New Games Inside Fortnite

The event took us through different realities showing different worlds. It started with teleporting to a Lego World then we raced on a track with the Octane, and finally we traveled to an Eminem concert.

This wasn’t all for the show, the Chapter 5 is going to be bringing us three new modes inside the game. These are Rocket Racing, Lego x Fortnite, and Fortnite Festival.

Rocket Racing

Riding on top of an Octane was pretty fun. Epic Games bought Rocket League, and we had the Octane in the game for a while. This is going to be a fun arcade racing mode inside of Fortnite. When you are bored from classic Battle Royale, you can jump in with your friends and race around.

Fortnite X Lego

This has been in the works for a while. We have known that there was a Fortnite x Lego collab coming and this event confirmed it. This collab will bring an open world survival crafting adventure to Fortnite, but no details are known yet. It does seem pretty exciting.

To be completely honest, they could have made the Eminem concert better. There were only two songs. Although it was epic, it was a bit short. Fortnite Festival is going to be bringing a lot more artists to Fortnite. There is going to be a Weeknd concert inside Fortnite on December 9th. There will be more in the future. It is going to be pretty fun to see your favorite artists perform in-game.
