Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 NPCs: All Locations and Items

In this article, the reader will be updated on the new location of the Fortnite NPCs, along with what items they can purchase from each character. This list can help the reader find every NPC currently on the island to complete the character collections.

With the launch of Chapter 3, Season 3 the world of Fortnite has gotten a little shaken up and chilled out for Summer Time Vibin’. The cosmetics of the island have been brightened up with fluorescent paint, the glowing Reality Tree, as well as stirring up the location of 25 NPCs–some returning from last season, along with some brand new faces.

NPCs (or Non-Player-Characters) are non-hostile characters you can interact with, buy exotic weapons and heals from, and who you can check off of your “Collections” to the right of your “map” tab. Though watch out–if you damage an NPC they will turn aggressive and try to kill you. Some you can hire and add another gun to your team.

In this article we’ll cover all NPC locations and possible inventory for purchase with gold, though not every weapon rarity may be exact and some characters may spawn randomly.

Finding NPCs While Playing

Usually there are a few roaming NPCs that trek across the map for chance encounters when you’re traveling or running from the storm. It seems as though this season, all the NPCs are relatively stationary or tied to one geographic location.

When looking specifically for an NPC, as you approach the area where one is located, on your mini map a word bubble will pop up where the character is located. This icon on the map will help you quickly navigate to the character, hopefully before you run into an enemy player.

Keep your eyes peeled for challenges involving these characters (like Week One’s “Interact with Sunbird/Moon Hawk and The Rustler in a single match) and keep this list handy to help navigate yourself quickly to your desired character.

Conclusion

Though Peely saved the day by bringing a Slurp Truck to the rescue during our Chapter 3 Season 2 end-of-season event, he seems to be missing from the new map. Will he get a spot back on the Fortnite island as Season 3 continues? We will have to wait and see what the creators at Epic decided to do.

Whether you’re looking to get a specific weapon, to complete your character punch card for the “Social Butterfly” award, or just checking out the surroundings, NPCs are a great part of Fortnite that continue to evolve. With the list above you can arm yourself with the knowledge of where to go for specific items or characters.
