Luna Lanie is an Atlanta based cosplayer and has been cosplaying for a little over a year. She is most well known for her League of Legends cosplay, funny streams and her infectious positive attitude. With her popularity and fan base snowballing, the sky is the limit for what she has up her sleeves.

How did you first get into League of Legends and what made you decide to cosplay characters from it?
LL: I first learned about League of Legends when I started Cosplaying. When I attended Momocon last year in Atlanta, I was at the Cospitality Room. I was given a Ward Skin and when I got home I downloaded it and the rest is history. I thought the design of the characters was exquisite and so many people at the Con were dressed in LoL and I was thinking this is what I want to try for my next shoot.
What was your most difficult cosplay to put together?
LL: Probably Heart Seeker Ashe just because I was a novice and it was my first time sewing without help.
What advice would you give to people getting into cosplay for the first time?
LL: My advice would be what I said in my video, pick something you love because you're going to be spending alot of time on it and don't let other peoples opinions about the way you interpret your character influence what you do. [If you want to see the video Luna is referencing, have a look here]

How easy or difficult was it to transition from doing cosplay to also running a stream on Twitch?
LL: I started both at the same time so it wasn't that difficult. In fact most of the time while streaming I try to be in a cosplay within Twitch community standards.
Besides Leauge of Legends, what other games do you plan on streaming?
LL: Call of Duty Advanced Warfare, Warframe and Destiny.
You started a Youtube channel, what kind of content can we expect to find there?
LL: My youtube channel is relatively new but it will be unboxings from Loot Crate, fan gifts, commentary and impressions of the conventions I attended. It will also have questions and answers that fans have been asking me on my twitter page, tutorials on prop making and makeup.
Any sneak peeks as to what you may be cosplaying next?
LL: I'm actually working on about 7 cosplays right now including Morrigan Aensland, Yoko Littner, Battle Bunny Riven, Janna, Jinx, Black Canary, and Poison Ivy).

Do you have a favorite LoL streamer, cosplayer, pro player or personailty you enjoy watching?
LL: My favorite cosplayer would have to be Jessica Nigri because she does awesome cosplays and is super positive/happy and I don't really have favorites in the other categories.
You wake up and it's the zombie apocalypse and you were given the choice to choose 5 Leauge of Legends champions to protect you, who would it be and why?
LL: Teemo to shoot poison darts at them and set his OP mushroom traps around our post apocalypse base. Caitlyn to snipe from a distance, Nidalee to heal us, set traps, and spear them to death MWUAHAHA. Janna to blow them (LOL not literally) and shield our base. Then finally Lux to slow them and blast them with her double rainbow.
When you're not busy cosplaying or streaming what can we find you doing?
LL: I work full time and go to college that keeps me pretty busy.

Where can your fans see you next?
LL: I stream Monday, Thursday and Saturday evenings EST at http://www.twitch.tv/lunalanie and the next convention I will probably be attending is Momocon in Atlanta and definitely Comicon in San Diego. I'm a college student with a full time job so I have a limited budget when it comes to traveling to cons at the moment but I'm hoping that will change in the next few years.
Any last remarks or shout outs?
LL: Shout out to all my followers, these people are like my family and have been supporting me and keeping me positive for the past year. No words can express how much they have done for me especially when things have been rough for me LOVE MY #LUNATICS
Once again I just wanted to say thank you for your time! Keep up all the awesome work and cant wait to see what you come up with next. Stay up to date with Luna Lanie through Facebook and Twitter!
