Interview with #DIGPUBG Player, Adam

We sat down with Adam talking about his PUBG Esports career and joining Team Dignitas!

Adam "Adam" Didiano is a player of the new Team Dignitas PUBG roster, previously playing for Shoot To Kill. He and his squad (STK) have played in tournaments like GLL, Auzom, and First Blood and positively surprised everyone by qualifying for the GLL/PGL LAN tournament reaching 11th place.

Having placed top 8 in the North-American Alpha Division ensured them that they played in Bucharest on the 20th to 22nd of April for the share of a 50,000$ prize pool. We sat down with Adam to ask him about joining Team Dignitas and his future in PUBG Esports!

How did you get the opportunity to join Team Dignitas?

Adam: As one of the top unsigned teams in North-American PUBG, we were looking for an organisation that wanted to win as much as we did. When our manager reached out to Team Dignitas and we discovered they shared our passion to win and succeed, we knew we wanted to be a part of it.

What does this opportunity change for you and your teammates?

Adam: Being a part of Team Dignitas relieves a ton of stress that we previously had and grants us full concentration on the goal at hand. This opportunity also allows us to focus on the improvement and betterment of the team, this way we commit full-time to our job.

How do you feel about the support from the Sixers?

Adam: We expect the support from the Sixers to help us tremendously. I can’t be more excited to begin working with the Sixers and being able to utilize the resources they have to offer.

Are you confident in your future with Team Dignitas?

Adam: I am extremely confident in my future with Team Dignitas. I have high hopes that our team will become one of the best in the world, and the support from Team Dignitas will only make that easier. I can’t be more excited about my future with Team Dignitas.

What goals has your squad set for the future?

Adam: Our squad has a long-term goal of becoming the best team in PUBG. We will continue to grind together and improve as much as we can to achieve this goal. In the short-term, our goal is to place top 3 in every major tournament.

What is the beauty of PUBG as an eSport?

Adam: The beauty of PUBG as an eSport is that there is never any set outcome. Anything can happen at any given time and the teams that can adapt the best will prosper. PUBG is different compared to other eSports because there is a mixture of luck and skill. The best teams around will take full advantage of their given luck and not waste it, while also making the best possible decisions when luck is not on their side. When a team can remain consistent without luck, their results will improve.

Which event/tournament can we see you compete in next, and how are you preparing for the tournament?

Adam: Dreamhack PUBG Showdown in Austin is the next big event we will try to qualify for, so we are definitely looking forward to it. The tournament will field 16 of the best teams around the globe fighting for a chunk of $100,000. Preparation consists of building on our chemistry as a squad, studying teams that we’ll be playing against, and solidifying our strategies.

Any shoutouts?

Adam: Shoutout to xbombxscoutx on Twitch, he has been a supporter of my channel and professional career from the start and I can’t thank him enough. Same goes for the rest of my supporters and members of the FAM. Thank you! Also, a shoutout to our new sponsors: Alienware, Buffalo Wild Wings, HyperX, Mountain Dew, and Western Digital!

We want to thank Adam for taking the time to answer these questions and wish him the best of luck playing for Team Dignitas with his new squadmates previously playing for Lumber Mill and his coach from NorthernArena.
