As season 4 comes to a close, we can now look forward to season 5 of LCS. As always, roster changes keep the scene dynamic and unpredictable. The LCS is also expanding from 8 teams to 10, which will definitely make a difference. There are a lot of roster changes to keep up with, so here’s a full overview of the changes being made (including speculations for the unconfirmed roster changes.)
Team SoloMid
Season 5 Roster:
Dyrus – Top
Amazing Santorin?? – Jungle
Bjergsen – Mid
Wildturtle - ADC
Lustboy – Support
After winning the 2014 NA LCS Summer Split, Team SoloMid is keeping most of their roster. The only change being made is in the jungle. Amazing stepped down to return to Europe, and it is rumored that Santorin will be taking his place. Santorin most recently played as the jungler for Team Coast, leaving in October of 2014.
Cloud 9
Season 5 Roster:
Balls – Top
Meteos – Jungle
Hai – Mid
Sneaky – ADC
LemonNation – Support
C9 has a very consistent roster, and is one of the few teams not making any roster changes going into season 5. There have not been any rumors of players wanting to step down or leave.

Season 5 Roster:
Seraph ZionSpartan – Top
Dexter CloudNGuyen??– Jungle
LiNk?? – Mid
Doublelift – ADC
Aphromoo?? – Support
Seraph and Dexter left CLG, and ZionSpartan replaced Seraph in the top lane. CLG is holding tryouts for both mid and jungle, so it is uncertain what is happening with LiNk. It is also rumored that CloudNGuyen will be CLG’s new jungler. Aphromoo is not confirmed for next season, as he recently said on his stream that he was unsure about playing in season 5. Scarra left Team Dignitas, and is now coaching CLG.
Team Dignitas
Season 5 Roster:
ZionSpartan ??– Top
Crumbzz – Jungle
Shiphtur – Mid
Imaqtpie ??– ADC

ZionSpartan left Team Dignitas to play top lane for CLG, and Imaqtpie stepped down to become a full-time streamer. There have been no official announcements regarding who will be filling in for these positions, however ODEE announced on his Twitter that “our new LCS players landed at LAX” on November 12th. Scarra also left Team Dignitas as coach.
LMQ
Season 5 Roster:
Ackerman ??– Top
NoName ??–Jungle
XiaoWeiXiao?? – Mid

LMQ is definitely undergoing the biggest change in their roster heading into season 5. Ackerman and Vasilii have both stepped down, and NoName has gone into retirement. Popstar Adrian, the support from Robert Morris University, will be taking over for Mor. There have not been any announcements regarding who will be playing top, jungle, or ADC as of now. There are also rumors of Xiaoweixiao trying out for mid on Team Curse.
Evil Geniuses
Season 5 Roster:
InnoX – Top
Helios – Jungle

Cop no longer plays for Curse, and Piglet has flown over from Korea to replace him as Curse’s ADC. There are not any confirmed replacements for Voyboy, but it is rumored that Keane, the mid laner for Curse Academy, will take his place if Curse Academy doesn’t make it into LCS. There are also rumors of Xiaoweixiao trying out for mid.

One of the biggest changes being made to the LCS for season 5 is the addition of two extra teams, bringing the total number of LCS teams from 8 to 10. The expansion tournament (November 15th-December 14th) will decide who fills those spots.
The teams playing in the NA LCS 2015 Season Expansion Tournament are as follows:
