Rune pages are a vital part of every League of Legends game. Choosing between paths, their unique Runes, and Stat Shards is not an easy decision to make. To make it easier for everyone, we prepared standard Rune pages for every role.
These pages are set to work in general, but don’t forget to play around and find the Runes that first your champion and playstyle the best!
Top Lane (Tank)
For a full-tank top laner, it's all about Grasp of the Undying. This keystone will permanently increase your health while also giving you some bonus magic damage. The rest of the Runes give additional sustain, and the Domination path as the secondary gives even more durability and lane pressure.
Top Lane (AP Bruiser)
Sorcery is an ideal pick for most AP bruisers. The path gives them more damage and mana, catered especially towards damage dealers. With the Domination path securing even safer trades and Stat Shards giving more damage, this Rune page works with almost any AP bruiser.
AD Top & Mid
Choosing the Precision path for your AD top laner or mid laner will let you deal higher damage, with some sustain to help you hold on a little longer. Conqueror is known to conquer, after all. To ensure easier laning, the Domination path is here to help. Pick additional armor or magic resist according to the matchup.
Mid Lane (AP)
Mid laners are all about taking enemies down. To do that, you need as much damage as you can get, and the Domination path with Electrocute will give that as it focuses on burst. Sorcery and Precision can work as secondary paths, depending on if you need more mana or higher regeneration.
Jungle (AP/AD)
To move quickly around the jungle and deal a fair amount of damage on ganks, choosing Domination as your main path and Sorcery as the second is the best way to go. Pick Electrocute to gain more damage, and the rest accordingly. Choose between armor/MR as your Flex Stat based on the matchup.
Jungle (Tank)
Though tanks focus on survivability, junglers are more likely to pick the Precision path for more efficient ganks. It also ensures more health and gold, and players can quickly clean the jungle camps with more attack speed. Faster movement comes with the Sorcery path as the second choice.
Bot lane: ADC
ADC's need damage, lifesteal, and attack speed the most. Choosing the Precision path will improve all of the three needed stats, while runes in Domination as the secondary path will ease up the early game. Bloodline can be exchanged for Alacrity in case players want to rely on attack speed more than lifesteal.
Bot Lane: Support (Mage)
AP supports should choose the Sorcery path. Summoning Aery helps you to target opponents or shield your allies, and the rest of the tree will add to your mana, CDR, and damage for poke. Choose Inspiration as your secondary path as the backup.
Bot Lane: Support (Tank)
Support tanks call for the Resolve path. Aftershock will give more defense for immobilization, while the rest of the Runes will add even more sustain. The Inspiration path will help you keep up with the laning phase. Change your flex and/or defense Stat based on the matchup.
