The Hardest Achievements in Marvel Rivals

Achievement hunters are going to find a worthy challenge waiting for them in Marvel Rivals. The hardest achievements in the game aren’t for casuals, as they demand players to truly master their character. Don’t worry—we’ll throw in a few tips along the way.

Achievements are a sense of pride, accomplishment, and of course units in Marvel Rivals. We’ll take a look at some of the biggest roadblocks to platinum this game, but we’ll also throw in a few tips to help you get through it.

Demon’s Roar

The Demon’s Roar achievement is for Magik to land 3 KOs within a single transformation into Darkchild. This is a reasonable achievement for any competent Magik player, and players should get this with enough hours on the character. The biggest roadblocks are timing the transformation to avoid an enemy defensive ult and targets spreading out during the duration.

Deadly Bites

Deadly Bites is an achievement for Black Widow, where you must land 3 KOs with critical hits in a single match. On paper, any sniper player with decent aim should get this organically. However, Black Widow’s primary fire can’t one-shot an enemy squishy even on a critical hit, making the achievement an ordeal.

Black Widow players attempting to achieve this should focus on securing a headshot on a low-health enemy, as you must hit the final hit to count. This challenge becomes much easier with a Mantis duo willing to keep the damage boost flowing throughout the match.

God of Treachery

Loki’s God of Treachery achievement tasks him with eliminating one enemy by stabbing from behind. Despite its very low success rate on Steam achievements, a dedicated Loki player has all the tools they need to complete the challenge.

The sneaky god has bonus melee damage when backstabbing an enemy, which applies to his clones. One reliable method is to sneak behind an isolated enemy, deploy both clones and quickly melee twice. By teleporting behind low-health enemies, Loki can always look for backstabbing opportunities in regular games.

Divine Justice

The Divine Justice achievement is rewarded to Thor after striking down four enemies with a single use of God of Thunder. Thor’s ultimate is an underwhelming part of his kit primarily used to cause chaos and hopefully force his opponents to trade their ults.

Thor is lucky to secure one kill with it, let alone four. Fortunately, players will only need to hit four enemies with the slam portion of the attack for the achievement. A well-placed Groot ultimate is invaluable with the challenge. Without it, use God of Thunder during the opponent’s defensive ultimate, as they’ll feel more confident to stick together.

Perilous Portal

Doctor Strange must land one terrain KO with his portal for the Perilous Portal achievement. This achievement was effortless during the early days of Marvel Rivals, where no one knew what was happening, and everyone ran out face first into mines and portals.

While the player base has smartened up, the best way to tick off this achievement is still placing portals on the attacking team’s door. A cunning trick Strange mains does is to counter an attacking Strange’s portal by placing their portal in front of theirs, confusing the enemy and cutting off their shortcut.

Rage Uncaged

The Rage Uncaged achievement is given to players who can get 3 KOs in a single use of Wolverine’s Last Stand. The timing for this achievement is unforgiving, and players must get the three KOs using the ultimate or during its short duration. No wonder less than four percent of Marvel Rivals players have this on Steam.

Wolverines attempting this challenge should charge up their rage before grouping them with the ultimate. A friendly Groot and Rocket Raccoon can also combo their ultimates to keep enemies in place, while Wolverine hopefully gets three eliminations with the damage boost.

Justice For All

Captain America is a mobile bully who can pick off key targets unchecked. Although he has decent damage for a vanguard, Cap isn’t wiping enemy squishies within a few seconds. It’s a frustrating experience trying to get his Justice For All achievement, where players will have to land 3 KOs with a single use of Freedom Charge.

Captain America’s ultimate is used defensively to heal and speed up his team, which does nothing to help the achievement. An achievement hunter should use Cap’s ultimate to support teammates who can wipe out the enemy team, like Winter Soldier. Don’t forget to damage the enemy to earn the assist.

King of the Dead

King of the Dead tasks Black Panther to secure a 3-player KO streak in the Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda: Hall of Djalia. This is one of the most annoying achievements in Marvel Rivals, as Black Panther is a difficult character to land a last hit, let alone three in quick succession. There’s also the fact that this achievement is map-dependent, so players won’t have the opportunity to grind for it.

Smoke Screen

The Smoke Screen achievement is the hardest achievement in Marvel Rivals, as less than 2% of players globally can show it off. To get it, land 3 KOs to an enemy inside the smoke of Scourge Grenade in a single game as Punisher.

Punisher’s Scourge Grenade is mainly used as a repositioning tool since it doesn’t deal damage or provide functional crowd control for its small area. Because of that, players won’t get the Smoke Screen achievement through normal gameplay. An achievement hunter’s best bet is to tag a weakened enemy with the smoke and quickly follow up with the Punisher’s shotgun.
