Fortnite Festival is the latest and greatest rocking game brought to you by Epic Games. This standalone game lets you jam out to your favorite tracks and create your own musical masterpieces. Jam alone, with up to three of your friends, or up to 16 random players. There are three unique stages or game modes to enjoy: Fortnite Festival Main Stage, Fortnite Festival Jam Stage, and the newest mode, Fortnite Festival Battle Stage.

Fortnite Festival Main Stage

Jump into the Main Stage

To access the Fortnite Festival Main Stage, simply select the Main Stage tile on the main menu. Check your party settings, gather your friends, and get ready to rock!

Go Through Soundcheck

Optimizing your game is a non-negotiable step to have the best experience. Your first time entering the game, you’ll be guided through quick steps to optimize your audio, video, and input settings. You can always visit the Stage Tech backstage to adjust these these settings or have a tune-up in the future.

Fine Tune Your Key Bindings

Key bindings are always different depending on your input device such as a PlayStation controller, keyboard and mouse, or Nintendo Switch Joycons. One helpful feature is the ability to create different keybinds for various difficulty levels. You can customize these bindings in the Controller or Keyboard Settings menu once you are backstage.

Choose Your Instrument

Choose your instrument using the button at the bottom right corner of the screen. Don’t worry, if you want to change this in between jam tracks, you can switch between songs during a set. The more you play, the more new instrument cosmetics you’ll unlock as you progress through the Festival Season Pass. Don’t forget to check out the Item Shop for more options!

Pick Your Difficulty Level

You can set your difficulty level in the bottom right corner of the main lobby. You can also change the difficulty level between songs during a set. Take note of the difficulty level of your song selection and adjust as needed.

Adding Your Jam Tracks

Jam Tracks are the songs you’ll perform during your set. To add a Jam Track to your setlist, walk over to the organ in the center of the room. Browse through rotating Jam Tracks and add them to your setlist. You can also purchase additional tracks from the Item Shop using V-Bucks. Purchasing tracks means you’ll be able to jam to them whenever you want.

Once you’ve completed all of these steps, hold the ready button to jump onto the stage!

Fortnite Festival Jam Stage

For those who are looking for a more creative and collaborative style of performance, Jam Stage is the perfect option. Using jam tracks and loops, you can create unique mashups with your friends. Mix and match with your party to craft fun and creative tunes. You can play different loops for Lead, Drums, Vox (Vocals), or Bass. Adjust the tempo, key, and major/minor settings to perfect your mashup.

New Mode: Fortnite Festival Battle Stage

Battle Stage is an exciting mode where 16 players compete across a randomized setlist. The goal? Be the last one standing when the music stops! You’ll play the same track as others but can choose your song part and difficulty. The four lowest-scoring players are eliminated at the end of each song until only one player remains.

Battle Stage Tips

• Play Accurately: Maintain your streak and score high.
• Launch Attacks: When you hit overdrive notes, you can slow down your opponents’ by launching attacks, which will give you a competitive edge.
• Skill Rating System: Matches are balanced based on your skill rating, ensuring fair competition.

Jam with Friends in Private Matches

In private matches, you can rock out with up to four friends, choosing from your shared library of owned Jam Tracks and the current featured rotation. That means if one of you owns a jam track, the four of you can select it and play it together. Making the most use out of your item shop purchases!

Additional Festival Features and Perks

Lobby Jammin’

If you are a music lover, you will love the ability to equip your owned Jam Tracks as Lobby Tracks, allowing you to enjoy different jams each time you return to the Lobby.

Quests

Quests for Main Stage, Jam Stage, and Battle Stage share categories. Progress through quests while backstage and during performances to earn all of the fun Festival pass items.

Content Creation

Content creators in the Support-A-Creator (SAC) program can host VOD content on YouTube featuring a selection of Jam Tracks and monetize it. How cool is that?! Check in weekly for new tracks!
