Job Description

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordination and implementation of strategies and activities on the various Dignitas marketing platforms (social media, social communities, website, live stream events, in-person events, etc), growing our community through engaging content narratives and interactions. The role’s core focus will be maintaining day-to-day coordination of marketing efforts to engage the Dignitas fanbase.


Core Accountabilities

  • Assist marketing team members by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including social media, content and design, to build out marketing programs
  • Conceptualize and execute digital and in-person marketing events for Dignitas and the organization’s forthcoming Women Gamers initiative, including live stream panels, play with the pro events, community game nights, watch parties and other digital or physical (when it’s considered safe to do so) activations.
  • Tracking analytics and performance of marketing campaigns and activities
  • Conduct external outreach and coordination of affiliate programs connected to the women gamer’s initiative
  • Research, stay on top of and report women in gaming news for women’s initiative website
  • Identify live stream and content creation trends, best practices and up & coming broadcasters

Essential Knowledge & Interests

  • Passionate about diversity & inclusion initiatives, including, but not limited to, supporting efforts to build content, initiatives and communities focused on women gamers
  • Minimum 1 year of esports experience required (will be tested on industry knowledge)
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Prior Marketing, Social Media or Community Management experience
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level
  • Must work effectively with Senior-level executives and staff; must also be able to work independently
  • Must have a strong interpersonal skills and good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals

Travel Requirements

Required travel would be rare (<5% time). Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights.

Work Environment

This position generally requires that work be performed from the Dignitas Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA, but attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
