How to Execute the B Site on Cache

Today we show how to properly execute onto the B site of Cache

Cache, a map that has been around since 2011, was first introduced into CS:Source by map maker Volcano before being ported over to CS:GO with the help of FMPONE. Cache is an interesting map which in turn allows for interesting executes. One of these interesting executes can be done onto the B site of Cache, which be a tricky site to take so I am going to attempt to make it easier by using a full execute!

For this execute you are going to need at least two smokes, three molotovs and two flashes with three or four players towards the B site (the fifth player should be holding your behind and making sure you don’t get flanked while setting up). I would recommend four people towards the B site, as it allows for an easier take onto the site and means you can trade effectively while leaving at least two alive. It is preferred that you have one or two smokes spare so you can hold off the retake from the CT side. Having spare nades in any execute is always handy and considering there is four entry points into the B site for CTs (Tree Room/CT, Heaven, Vents and B Main) an extra smoke or molotov to block those points off will only help you.

The first smoke you are going to throw is the “B Main smoke”, which blokes off the entrance to B site. This smoke allows you to get rid of the pesky AWPers who may be watching the cross towards the Sun Room. The B Main smoke is very important to this strategy. Not only does it stop AWPers from peeking, it also does not allow anyone on the B site any information on how many are in Checkers giving you the advantage early on. After the B Main smoke has landed, a molotov will need to be thrown into the entrance to Checkers. This again will stop anyone hiding in the close angles of Checkers while also making sure that AWPer does not readjust his angle. If you are lacking utility, you can skip this molotov and save it for something else but if you are playing against a smart AWPer it is recommended. Refer to the video below on how to set-up this Molotov.

Now that B Main is smoked and the entrance to Checkers has been cleared, you want one or two players to be flashed into Checkers so they can be ready to go through the Checkers entrance onto the B site. Getting these players into Checkers is vital to the execute, as it makes sure that you are not getting caught out while running onto the site. A lot of CT teams will have at least one player in Checkers, so eliminating him or forcing him out will make the strategy easier to execute.

Once the players in Checkers are ready to go, you need to start setting up the smokes in Sun Room. For this part of the strategy you NEED two players in Sun Room and you will need to have one smoke and two molotovs left

The smoke should be setup behind the white box in Sun Room, which is also where the first molotov will be thrown from. The first Molotov will be thrown onto the default of B site. The second player needs to also set-up in Sun Room and the molotov will go behind the Triple Box on B site. The most important part of this execute is the Tree Room smoke. The molotovs onto the site without the Tree Room smoke leaves you open to anyone playing in that position and the smoke will temporarily block anyone rotating. The molotovs will force people off the site or into uncomfortable positions, allowing you to kill them mid-panic. The video below shows how to set the smokes and molotovs up.

Now that you have set-up the smoke and molotovs for the site, the only thing left to do now is throw them onto the site. If you wish, you may want to also throw a flash onto the site as you are going out.

Here is a bonus smoke for Heaven if you want to use another smoke. If you do not want to do this particular smoke, you can just throw it while crossing to the site. The same goes for a molotov, but it is dangerous to leave yourself exposed and it is easy to fall back into Heaven, so it may not be easy to trade the frag.

If you want to add a third molotov to the execute, I recommend using this one. This will make sure the site is fully molotoved but this is not always needed.

If you follow these steps correctly you'll have a B site execute in your arsenal and your enemies will be flustered with your knowledge of the map!
