The Zeus x27 is a taser that can do devastating damage to a player from short range. By using this weapon, you can kill an enemy in just a single hit but it cannot be used multiple times and if multiple enemies push towards you, then you will get some trouble. The Zeus x27 is not used in many matches but you may have seen it in use a few times. In this guide, I will show you how to properly use the Zeus x27 to your advantage against enemies that have full armor, weapons and grenades. It will also cover some of the advantages and disadvantages of the weapon. We will also look at some good positions on different maps where you can stand with the Zeus x27 to hopefully get a kill against fully bought enemies that don't suspect what will come to them.

Advantages:

• Very cheap and only costs $200
• Instantly kills armored enemies from short range
• Better range than the knife and can one hit kill from the front

Disadvantages:

• Only has one shot and can't be used against multiple enemies
• Hard to use against fast moving enemies
• It can be heard from all nearby players, including enemies
• Inaccurate when jumping
• $0 kill award

Tactics:

The best use of the Zeus x27 is to stand very close to an angle and when someone in the enemy team peaks the angle, you should be able to kill the person. Always stay close to an angle due to the fact that the effective range on the Zeus x27 is very short. Do not rush with this weapon in your hand unless you know that there is only one enemy that you need to kill. If you kill an enemy with the Zeus x27, you will not get any kill reward but you might be able to grab the enemy's weapon and move back to another position. If you don't kill him, however, try to move back and use your pistol or rifle instead. Remember to always move back after you have fired the weapon because it will be automatically dropped to the ground after it has been used and you need time to switch to another weapon. I suggest buying armor as well, if the enemy prefires the position where you are standing and you get hit with a bullet, it will be hard to aim with the Zeus x27 because of the aim punch that you'll get if you don't have any armor on you.

Positions:

Let's take a look at some of the positions where a Zeus x27 could be very deadly from some various maps. By looking at these screenshots you can have an idea of where to stand in close angles. You should position yourself where you do not have to watch multiple angles. Only stand in a position where you are certain that an enemy can't come from another angle. If you think that they can, go and stand in another position or use a pistol or rifle instead unless you have a teammate that can watch another angle for you. It is not recommended to get boosted up somewhere with the Zeus x27 because it will be harder to hit the enemy from above and due to the effective range there is a potential that it can hit but not kill. Pop flashes can be used if you feel like there are multiple enemies rushing towards you.

Here you can see that some of the positions requires to watch multiple angles. Let a teammate watch another angle or stand only in one of these positions when you are certain that the enemies only can come through the angle that you are aiming towards and not through a second angle. Hold the angle when you are in position and stay focused because the enemies may very well sneak towards you and won't make any noise. When an enemy comes forward, you can shoot at the enemy right in the chest because the Zeus x27 can kill instantly no matter where you hit. Just be careful about the distance, the Zeus x27 doesn't have a good effective range.

Having a Zeus x27 can be very useful in short range positions, especially on eco rounds. There a few limits but it can potentially give you a rifle from the enemy if you get a succesful shot. Don't overextend an angle and make yourself an easy target to the enemies. Make sure that you do not have to worry about an enemy that can come from a second angle. You should be 100% sure that an enemy can only come from the angle that you are looking towards. If an enemy can come through a second angle, switch positions instead of going aggressive. Wait for the enemy to push towards you and it should be much easier for you to get a kill.
