Cycle 6.6 has started and with that comes a big update to the PBE, we have a new champion being released called Aurelian Sol as well as 4 new skins.

Aurelion Sol

Aurelion Sol is a AP damage Champion that offers a lot of mobility as well as some pretty awesome crowd control. His kit is very much geared around closing that gap and locking enemies down to secure the kill. Aurelion Sol is a being that can create and destroy stars at will, thus making him one of the strongest beings within the League of Legends Universe. His voice over definitely makes him sound omnipotent but whether or not his model does, I'm in two minds. He looks awesome and his skin looks even better, but his kit is where he get's very interesting.

Passive "Centre of the Universe" is the most interesting part of him as it essentially deals damage for free, three stars circle him and deal a small amount of damage and even execute minions below 25 health, which makes him strong in terms of farming ablilty.

Q "Starsurge" is a skillshot ability that shoots a stellar core in any given direction, it gets bigger as it travels and it grants Aurelion Sol a small movement speed stim. Once it hits the outer limit range it detonates stunning everything within its radius.

W "Celestial Expansion" passively increases the damage of the stars surrounding Aurelion Sol and also when toggled it expands the stars out giving them more range, this is at the cost of mana per second though so early on it's more for the passive that we put levels into it.

E "Comet of Legend" now this is possibly my favourite part of Aurelion Sol's kit and when I say that he is very much focused around gap closing, this is what I mean. Comet of Legend generates "Escape Velocity" as you move, while moving in one direction you gain bonus movement speed. Once you have charged the ability to 100, you can activate it to travel a pretty far distance (half way from mid to top at level 1). The only downside to this is that you become visible over walls.

Ultimate "Voice of Light" Is a skillshot that deals a lot of damage while also slowing enemies it hits, the slow decays over time. It also knocks opponents to the outer limit range I spoke about before, which gives it an escape mechanic too.

Aurelion Sol is such an interesting and cool Champion and his release skin looks insane, it will be interesting to see where he fits into the current meta if he does at all and how he will fair in, potentially, mid lane.

Draven Draven (RP cost unknown)

Is the amount of Draven we have not enough Draven? If you think so then oh boy does Riot have you covered! This is Draven Draven, probably the weirdest skin Riot will ever release in League of Legends, why? Maybe because Draven is wearing a Draven head, weird, but not surprising.

It's currently unknown how much this skin will cost, but I would assume it would be more than just a simple reskin, because the best part of this skin, is that it turns the minions into Draven head wearing minions, this isn't in the PBE yet.

Meowkai (1350RP)

Maokai is taking more of an adorable facade, donning his cat onezie, backpack and his trusty fluffy companion, Maokai will definitely make League of Legends that little bit more "Kawaii".

This is literally the polar opposite of any skin idea I would see Maokai getting, it's nice to see the tree get some love with this new skin, I'm especially a fan of the rainbows. This skin is a 1350RP skin so pretty much the whole works getting done, and it's 100% worth it.

Definitely Not Vel'Koz (750RP)

It's the simple things that make a good skin, Vel'Koz gets this in the form of a "Definitely Not..." Skin, this one is possibly the best though, I'm a huge fan of the coffee on his tentacle. This is just a 750RP skin so just a remodel, but definitely one to consider.

Urf Tahm Kench (750RP)

I didn't know I needed this until I saw it. Urf Tahm Kench is one of the absolute best ideas I think Riot have ever come up with, they even included the Golden Spactula! Everyone's favorite creature and Gamemode get's it's tribute in the form of this simple remodel skin for 750RP. Worth it.
