You managed to get access to the VALORANT closed beta and you've been enjoying your first few games. You noticed other people are walking around with sick weapon skins and with way more Agents than you. You also noticed that you need Valorant Points (VP) to buy these skins and you know where to buy VP but you're looking for ways to get this for free. This article will explain how you can currently get free Valorant Points and skins.

Although there is no way to get free Valorant Points at this time, players who buy VP during the closed beta will get an additional 20% VP when the full game launches in the summer. So this is an easy way to get 20% additional VP for free!

The closed beta currently also does not offer any free weapon skins. However, Riot Games mentioned that they will introduce a Battle Pass system which gives you regular challenges to complete. Completing these challenges could perhaps award you weapon skins for free, as this is often done in other games. Another possibility to get free weapon skins in VALORANT could be through random drops after games, similar to CSGO.

Although there are currently no random drops in VALORANT closed beta and we do not have any details about the Battle Pass, it is likely that Riot Games will offer some way for players to unlock certain cosmetics. In League of Legends Riot Games also introduced systems to unlock cosmetics without buying RP, so we hope to see similar features being released in VALORANT.
