Boosting on Cache: A Guide on Two-Man Boosting as CT on Cache

Gain a tactical advantage on your enemies with this guide on two-man boosting.

Positioning in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is a very important aspect of the game. If you position yourself right, especially when you play as a Counter-Terrorist, it could be the thing that lets you win the round. Changing positions is also very important, so that the enemy can never expect where you are and you can hit them by surprise.

It's hard for a Terrorist to check every single corner while entering a site, and these two-man boosts are done to enter positions that a Terrorist probably won't check.

To do a boost you need one other person to crouch, and then you will have to jump on top of him/her. In most boosts you both have to jump at the same time to gain more height. This is very nicely shown in this YouTube-video made by ZAZZ lez:

If you are doing a boost that puts you in an exposed area, I would recommend repositioning after getting a frag or two. This will lower you chances of getting taken down by the enemies.

Let's get started with the boosts.

1. Boost Boxes

The first boost is done right outside A-Main, on the "Boost Boxes". The "Boost Boxes" are the yellow toxic-cans right outside Main. It is important that you smoke off Main before performing this boost. This will make sure that your enemies can't see you while boosting. This boost will give you a nice overview of the T's entering A-Site, and unless you are really unlucky, they won't check the spot and you can attack them from above and get a couple of round-winning frags.

2. A-Site

This is a very simple boost. It is executed on A-Site and will make only your head visible, while you can see the entire bodies of your targets. A smoke is not necessary to do this boost, and it is best not to smoke A-Main while doing it, since this would make it harder for you to get a frag out of it. Getting a frag or two and then jumping down and reposition is highly recommended to make the most out of this boost.

3. Highway-Sniper

I would recommend doing this boost while having an AWP equipped. The boost will give you a great overview of Highway, and the enemies will hopefully not expect it. Be sure to smoke Main before doing this boost as you will be exposed if you don't. If you hear the Squeaky-Doors open, cancel the boost, get down as fast as you can and prepare to take down some enemies.

4. Mid

This boost is done in the end of mid that is closest to T-Spawn. It is extremely important to smoke mid/garage when executing this boost. The boost will give you the opportunity to end up behind your enemies' backs, and make a strong impact on the round. It will let you get up behind them from A-Main or Squeaky. If the T's are going A, this boost is incredibly useful, but watch out for enemies boosting from the other side.

5. Vent-Room

Our next boost will exterminate every Terrorist trying to make its way through Vent-Room. Boost up behind the boxes in the end of Vent-Room that is closest to CT-Spawn and do powerful damage to your targets.

6. B-Site/Toxic Room

This one might not be the most ideal boost ever, but used at the right time, it can make huge impact. Crouch jump (jump and crouch while moving forward onto and edge, for example a box) onto one of the boxes on B-Site and proceed to jump onto the box in the very middle of site. Both of you need to do this. Then put your sight down into Toxic-Room and let your bullets fly.

7. Vent-Room to Mid

This boost will give you access to a position that probably won't be expected. The boost lets you go inside Vents from Vent-Room. After entering Vents you can hide behind the grilles covering the ventilation until an enemy arrives. You will barely be visible until you shoot the grilles. After shooting them, you can peek out, and get an easy kill.

8. B-Site

The boost you are about to see is probably located in a spot you wouldn't check when entering B-Site. It is performed on B-Site and it's really easy to do. It will give you a great overview of every corner a Terrorist possibly can emerge from.

9. B-Site no.2

The next boost I have to show you will also give you great overview of every T entering B-Site. It is done close to the wall on B-Site, on the grey barrels that look exactly like the ones on boost number eight.

10. Squeaky

This is the last boost I have to show you in this article. This is a very unexpected one, it is risky to perform it, but the results you can get from it can be great. Boost onto the box that you see right in front of you when entering Squeaky from A-Site. It's a really fun boost, and is very unexpected.

I hope you have learned something from reading this article, and that it will help you in your upcoming games. It always feels great to outplay the enemy with a good boost. If you have any other boosts that you would like to share, feel free to do exactly that in the comment section. Feedback is also appreciated!

I hope you liked this guide!

Thank you to ConaN and hi im bryce for doing the boosts for me, so that I could take screenshots of them.
