Economical Damage - eco strat for de_mirage

What is an eco?
In Counter-Strike your team "ecos" when they have either no money or not enough money for a full buy. The reason for ecoing is putting yourself and your team into a better economical state, so you can buy weaponry that gives you a very good chance of winning rounds. In an eco round, you either invest very lightly into it or not at all. These rounds normally give the other team an easy win, but with strategy it can be very expensive for them or you could actually win the round. However, these rounds have not been designed to get a win from, but to either get a bomb plant or eliminate a few enemies.
Strategy: "A Site Smoke Tunnel"
For this strategy you will need
- 4 Smoke Grenades
- Control of T Ramp and Palace
If this strat goes ideally then there should be a smoke tunnel which you can safely run through and plant on the side of Default Box that's closest to T Ramp.
Once the round starts send all five players in your team towards A bombsite. The 4 players with smokes should take control of T Ramp and the other player takes Palace. Once you have this basic map control the Palace player should push to a position where they can safely spot pushes towards T ramp. If they communicate that there is nobody pushing then this strategy is safe to execute. This should all happen relatively quickly so it catches the opponents off guard and doesn't give them an oppurtunity to flank you from B site. The first smoke to be thrown is very simple, done by one player pushing up T Ramp and throwing a smoke to block the CT's vision while you set up smokes. This is what the smoke should look like.
After this smoke has been thrown, you can now set up the main grenades for the strategy. I will show them in the order they should be thrown.
1st Smoke

Those are all the smokes you need! There should now be a smoke tunnel for A bombsite! This is what it looks like.
Overall, this strategy is great for getting bomb plants and I find that it is generally very good for catching at least one opponent off guard before the round ends. I wouldn't recommend using this strat more than once or twice a game as the opponents will start to catch on and shut it down before you can utilise it.
