If you are having trouble finding the Black Markets in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2, this guide will help you out.
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 introduced a lot of new stuff, including Black Markets, areas where you can spend your Dillbits and Gold Bars to buy strong weapons and items.
While most of the Black Markets are near the vaults in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2, it’s not clearly indicated where they are. But they’re not something that you can skip, as you can get Exotic/Mythic weapons in these Black Markets, which can give you a huge advantage.
So, to save you the hassle of trying to find these Black Markets on your own, here are the locations of all Black Markets in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2.
All three Black Market Locations Marked
There are a total of three Black Markets in Fortnite Chapter 6. Each of them offers a must-have Exotic weapon along with some other Epic/Legendary weapons and utilities. They are a must-stop if you want to upgrade your loot. However, beware that players like to camp in these spots.
The first, and by far the least contested in terms of players dropping, Black Market is in the Forest of Magic Mosses. It’s a shack in the corner of the forest, and the Black Market is in the basement of the shack. You can land directly here, there are a couple of chests on the upper floor to loot. If you have Gold Bars accumulated from previous matches, you can start the match with some pretty solid loot. However, you won’t be able to get your hands on the Enhanced (Mythic) weapons as they require Dillbits, which you only get from vaults.
Mythic/Legendary Items
All of these cost 1 Dillbit. Apart from these, you will find other Rare and Epic items as well that you can purchase with just Gold Bars.
The second Black Market is located to the north of Crime City. Look for a cave entrance directly north of the POI. It’s a great spot to hit after you have cleared Crime City. However, this Black Market is usually quite contested, as many players land in Crime City and then rotate towards it.
You shouldn’t land here right from the bus, as there aren’t any chests or loot. However, if you have a lot of Gold, it’s not such a bad idea, as you can get strong weapons early and then push toward Crime City to get some kills.
Mythic/Legendary Items
All of these cost 1 Dillbit each.
The last Black Market is located northeast of Masked Meadows, right near the colorful fields. It’s not as contended as the other black markets, so you can drop here. There are a lot of good weapons and items here as well, along with an Enhanced Weapon.
Legendary/Mythic Items
Mythic Falcon Eye Sniper
Legendary Falcon Eye Sniper
Legendary Striker Burst Rifle
Vulture Boon
I’d go as far as to say it’s a must, especially if you have a lot of Gold or some Dillbits. You can easily get your hands on really good loot. Secondly, it’s a solid place to get heals if you are in trouble. The Black Markets are filled with Shield items, Medkits, and Med Mists. Just one trip can easily get you up to full health, and you will have some spare to carry with you.
Secondly, these Black Markets are also solid places to land. If you have a lot of Gold Bars, just land there, and you can walk out with a stacked loadout. It will save you the hassle of relying on RNG to get a good loadout.
The last and main reason you should visit the Black Markets is the Mythic Weapons. We all know how strong Mythic Weapons are, and having one gives you a lot of advantages. Sure, you will need to open a vault to get some Dillbits, but if you can manage that, then the rest is easy.
The Enhanced Collateral AR is the strongest, followed by the Enhanced Sentinel Shotgun, You should try to get at least one of them if possible.
Overall, Black Markets is a really solid addition to Fortnite. They make Gold Bars actually useful now rather than just a currency you would accumulate. If you use Black Markets correctly, you will also start your matches with great loot.
Plus, it’s one of the only places to get Enhanced Weapons now which on its own makes Black Markets an important part of both casual and ranked Meta.
