Here is how you can level up faster in Battlefield 6 and unlock the weapons and attachments you have been waiting for.
Here is how you can level up faster in Battlefield 6 and unlock the weapons and attachments you have been waiting for.
Battlefield 6 puts a lot of emphasis on progression. When you start the game, you have one weapon of each type with minimal attachment options. To unlock more, you have to earn XP and level up. From weapons and gadgets to customization options, everything requires XP and leveling up to unlock.
While the idea behind it is to keep players coming back to unlock the next weapon or attachment, it does get tiring after a while. Not to mention, the guns you get at the start aren’t that great, and you have to play a lot to unlock the “good” guns.
So, if you don’t know what you are doing, you can get trapped in a long grind of earning XP, just to unlock the SV-98 (cause that’s what I did)
But Battlefield 6 is quite generous when it comes to XP, especially if you know how to get it. So, here are some ways to earn more XP and level up faster in Battlefield 6.
Essentially, completing objectives rewards you with XP, so you have to play modes that are constantly pushing you to complete objectives.
For instance, large-scale objective modes such as Conquest and Breakthrough usually offer the highest XP because they keep players grouped around important areas. Modes like Gauntlet are great too if you don’t like the chaos of Conquest. Gauntlet has a huge focus on objectives, so you can earn a lot of XP quickly.
These modes provide endless opportunities for capturing flags, defending points, supporting teammates, and engaging enemies. Even if you are not fragging out or getting kill streaks, you can just focus on objectives and earn XP from that.
Tip: If you are mainly pushing objectives a lot, consider playing the Assault class as it’s designed for exactly that.
In Battlefield 6, doing anything gives you XP, but objectives are where you get the most. They are at the heart of progression in the game. Doing things like capturing a point, defending a location, planting/defusing a bomb, or other various objectives the game offers can get you a lot of XP.
The game rewards involvement, not just end results, so even partial contributions matter. By staying active around objectives instead of wandering away from the main fight, you’ll consistently earn more XP and help your team win the match.

Each class in Battlefield 6 is designed with a specific purpose, and the game heavily rewards players who lean into those strengths.
Just playing the role of the class you are playing will get you XP. For instance, Support gains XP by reviving and resupplying teammates. Engineers earn XP by repairing/destroying vehicles and disabling enemy gadgets.
Similarly, Assault benefits from completing the objectives and kills, whereas Recons get XP for gathering intel.
So, if you are not that mechanically skilled, you can play something like Support and gain XP just by reviving and helping out your team. On the other hand, if you are cracked at the game, you can play Assault to maximize the XP you get.
You don’t need to secure every elimination yourself to benefit from combat. Assists and spotting provide consistent XP, especially during hectic fights.
Damaging or marking an enemy before they’re taken down is often enough to earn valuable assist XP.
Vehicles can be powerful sources of XP when used effectively. Getting frags with a tank or Tactical Assault Vehicle will net you some XP. Even driving or playing the gunner will help you level up. Of course, Engineers benefit the most if you play around/in vehicles a lot. Generally, if you are able to use a Tank properly, you will get bonus XP for that.

It’s an obvious one, but it is true. Challenges are there to make leveling up faster.
Outside of matches, daily and weekly challenges offer some of the fastest and easiest XP bonuses. These challenges are usually quite simple, like getting kills with a shotgun, getting revives with the Support class, or getting assists. Just mentally pick 2-3 challenges before every match and try to complete them as you are playing.
Completing even a few challenges per session can speed up your leveling and help you unlock content much faster. It’s always worth checking your Challenges page before jumping into a match.
Battlefield 6 often has limited-time events that have challenges you can do for rewards and XP. It’s an easy way of gaining XP along with your regular Daily and Weekly Challenges. Not only are you getting the much-needed XP, but you are also getting rewards.
Just make sure to regularly check your inbox in Battlefield 6; if there is an event going on, you will find out about it in the inbox. Plus, if you have never checked your inbox, you might find some free rewards that you didn’t claim.
To be honest, all you need to get XP in Battlefield 6 is to play the game as intended. Focus on objectives, help your teammates, use your utility wisely, and try to complete as many challenges as you can.
It will still take you time to level up in the game; it’s just designed that way. But you don’t need to reach level 100. A lot of good guns can be unlocked before level 30. So, once you get there, the grind feels easier.
