Team Dignitas To Attend IEM Cologne With Jesiz

We'll be facing QG Reapers at 17:00 CEST on Friday so don't forget to tune in!

Our League of Legends team came in third in the IEM Cologne NA poll but due to Team Liquid not being able to attend we still get to show off our new lineup this weekend. Unfortunately we won't be able to show you our entire lineup in action just yet because Alan 'KiWiKiD' Nguyen is unable to attend. He will be attending a wedding of a close friend in Japan which was scheduled before we were voted into IEM Cologne.

As we only found out last week that we are attending IEM Cologne, we had to find a replacement in a short timeframe. That is why we decided to call upon Jesse 'Jesiz' Le, former AD Carry of Gamers2. Although he is not a main Support player, he has been coaching our team remotely and helped our LoL support staff for the last month. As he is familiar with the team we believe that he'll be able to fill in the Support role while minimizing the impact this has on the rest of the team.

Thank you for your support and we hope to put up a good fight next weekend at IEM Cologne. We'll be facing QG Reapers at 17:00 CEST on Friday so don't forget to tune in!

Jesiz had the following to say to all our fans: "I am super happy to be substituting for Team Dignitas. I have been working with the guys for the past month and it has been a pleasure. I am not sure how it will be, working alongside them as a player rather than as a coach, however I will do my best to translate my experience and game knowledge to the team and make sure we do the absolute best of our ability.

Some might wonder if I will be able to perform as a support; the answer to that is "hopefully yes". As I have been playing ADC for Gamers2, I have gotten a bunch of experience playing botlane. Supporting is not difficult if you have the knowledge of what to do and when to do it. Also having spammed support in solo queue for the past 2 months while watching replays has helped too.

I have a crazy amount of respect for the few fans of mine and I truly hope some of the Team Dignitas fans will continue supporting us at IEM, despite KiWiKiD not being able to attend."
