Welcome to the 3rd installment of our "Featured Streamer Spotlight" series!
Hey everyone, Maleok here with the 3rd insallment of "Feautured Streamer Spotlight". This week I caught up with the most recent addition to our streamer staff Sean "Huzzy" Herbert. Huzzy is an avid YouTuber as well as twitch streamer. He is a Diamond player in League of Legends and a University student studying game design in Camberidge, UK!

How did you initially get involved with Team Dignitas?
Huzzy: The story is not as “normal” as most people would think. I collect LCS team merchandise (Jerseys mostly) and Team Dignitas was up next and I noticed they had a new Jersey out. I went to buy it and unfortunately had some problems with the website so I tweeted ODEE to get some help. Some time later we were emailing back / fourth and I brought up that I was a content producer. I was curious so I asked if Team Dignitas would ever consider picking me up, he put me in touch with the appropriate people within Team Dignitas to iron out the details and within a week or two I was signed for the organization.
Has working with an E-sports team made a significant impact on your content?
Huzzy: I never wanted to change the core content I do on YouTube and Twitch but it’s given me an overall boost in quality. The art assets I can use from Team Dignitas as well as some custom artwork that has been done for me personally I feel has given me a good boost.
Did you ever think that your content would be backed by a company or sponsor?
Huzzy: Not really, I always consider what I do as a hobby and I never expected to reach 30,000 subs on YouTube and have a stable 300 viewer stream but it’s amazing that organizations like Dig are now taking people like me more seriously, it really makes you feel good.
What can you tell us about the relationship you have with the team?
Huzzy: I am fairly active in the Team Dignitas Skype chat and I try to talk to people from all over the organization, such as Aiman from the Smite team and even other Dignitas streamers Like Ellektrikk. With League of Legends being my main game I do speak to the members of Team Dignitas EU and keep on board with what they’re doing. I also speak to some of the management to keep up with my projects I do for Team Dignitas.

What are the perks to working with a professional team?
Huzzy: Having a strong backbone to your content is priceless. Dignitas is a strong and trusted organization, so that for me adds value to my word when I’m making a guide, tip video etc.
Are there any downsides about being a streamer who represents a team?
Huzzy: Not really, the only one I can think of is people get confused with what role I actually have within Team Dignitas. Many people get confused abou whether I’m part of the professional LCS team.
What about your stream do you think has the biggest draw?
Huzzy: Interaction with viewers I think is my biggest draw. As a Diamond player for many seasons now I know the game fairly well from most perspectives and as a fan of many streams myself I notice 99% of questions asked to the streamer never get answered. I focus on answering as questions to the best of my knowledge as possible.
In your opinion, what is the best part about being a video game streamer?
Huzzy: Sharing what I enjoy. I’m a gamer, always have been, and most likely always will. Just to think that thousands of people watch me play a video game and get entertainment is crazy. I also love that I help people. I get messages occasionally saying “Hey you helped me get to the rating I wanted” and that really makes my day.
What would you say is more important to you right now, Stream growth or maintaining a steady audience?
Huzzy: Mainly growing both the YouTube channel and Twitch channel. I love my current community but I always love to see it grow and see new people in the comments and stream chat.

Finally, is there anything that you would like to tell your followers or people who may have not heard of you before?
Huzzy: Well firstly, I'd say to anyone who watches anything I do, thank you. Doing this as a hobby is one of the most rewarding things I think I could do and if you have never watched my content and you play League then maybe check it out. I mainly do commentaries, guides and smurf series’ every now and then. I also run a series called League Discussion where I usually talk about a highly controversial topic and talk about it for 10/15 minutes giving my opinions and encourage people to join in the discussion in the comments section. As for my stream, I usually stream Diamond solo queue. I like showing what it is like to be diamond, showing that we’re human. A lot of mistakes happen in diamond too and not just in bronze.
As always we are very thankful for our streamers time! Very interesting to see a more unusual enterance into the Team Dignitas family!
