When Nuke got reintroduced into the map pool late April, there were a lot of changes made to the map itself and it was redesigned to look more appealing to the eye. However, there were also a lot of drastic changes made into the map to make it less CT sided. Now with these new changes, I will run through three great simple Terrorist pistol strategies to hopefully make your pistol rounds on Nuke more effective. They are very simple and can cause a lot of damage as not a lot of players know how to play the new Nuke. These strategies may take them by surprise which is great for when you are really far behind and need the pistol round.

Vent rush to B

This strategy was used a lot in the previous version of Nuke and even though many know of it, it is really hard to counter this strat without any sort of utility. This vent rush can consist of four or five players rushing vents and dropping to the B site. However, you can also have a player or two on the roof to throw flashes onto the A bomb site to blind CTs so they can't throw any sort of utility or just to take them by surprise. Due to the new changes in Nuke, the CTs can't easily rotate via the second vent like you could on the old version. This makes this strat more viable because a few flashbangs can just prevent any sort of CT resistance which can give you easy access into the bomb site. You could also find a way to smoke A main from outside to make this strat work even better!

The A Split

Another more common strategy in CS:GO is splitting onto any bomb site. If you don't know what a split is, it's really just attacking a specific place or bomb site from two different angles and pincering the CTs defending. This strategy requires you to have two players rushing the A bomb site through door or hut. Then ensure three players are rushing outside onto silo and then onto catwalk and try to get into A main to pincer the CTs on site. There will usually be someone defending outside so do make sure you find a way to kill that CT or get him/her to back off by smoking or flashing. From there it's pretty simple, just pincer the site and win the round! You can also combine this strategy with an execute. To do this, you must smoke heaven on A, and the garage outside that allows the CTs to watch outside. Then a few good flashes in and the site should be yours. The outside wall of smokes

On Nuke, the outside area of the map is a very key area to have control over as a Terrorist. This is because it allows you to have multiple ways to push either site and also allows you to pull away CTs defending the A bomb site. This strategy is great at taking control of the outside area of Nuke, and can also be a cool strategy to hopefully take a bomb plant. For this, you will need about four smokes, although you can choose which places you want to smoke as long as you make a wall. This gives no vision to the CTs, so they have no idea how many Terrorists are behind those smokes. Although it's pretty obvious what you're doing, it's also a cool way to isolate a potential CT holding the outside area. It also gives you direct access to the B bomb site, so you can even get a plant out of it too! The wall of smokes should look similar to the pictures below, it's up to you where you want to smoke and how many players you want to send running past it. It can also be used as a great fake since the CTs can't get info to how many players are behind the smokes, so it can cause rotations leaving you an easy A site to take. You can even be more clever and throw decoys into the smokes to cause panic and confusion among the CTs. It's honestly up to you how creative you want to get!
